Overall Purpose of Job


Full Secretarial support to a team of Fee Earners including a Senior Director.


Main Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities


  • Diary management for the GVA project team
  • Travel arrangements for the GVA team
  • Initial point of contact for internal and external queries – responding where possible and delegating where not
  • Typing emails/letters/reports/proposal/minutes documents (both audio and copy typing)
  • Printing / copying reports
  • Receive and collate project team technical and invoice information for management by others
  • Chase staff to ensure monthly reporting (and other reporting) input is provided in a timely manner
  • Input all invoices onto system and sending out where necessary.
  • Maintain the soft and hard copy filing system
  • Review and distribute technical information and tasks using a project-wide electronic data base system (training will be provided)
  • Generally manage the GVA satellite office dealing with post, supplies and liaising with the landlords facilities team

  • Invoicing experience
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
  • Excellent organisational skills
