Overall Purpose of Job

Assist in the delivery of the day to day processes and monthly reporting on a large telecoms client and be part of cohesive and well balanced team within PMA Corporate Accounting.

Main Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Preparation of monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments, transfers, and intercompany adjustments.     
Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, providing commentary on material monthly movements.      
Month end analysis of rent & rates income & expenditure by site and against budget/forecast, drawing out reasons for material movements.       
Preparation of bank reconciliations and ensuring items are cleared within the client KPI. Cash management – cash forecasts, funding requests and proactive monitoring of cash levels against forecast payments.
Deliver additional ad hoc reports as required by the client.     
Assist with supplier reconciliations, liaising with the processing team in London and across the UK.
Develop a full understanding of the QA, RICS and Clients procedures and processes adopted in the QA - training will be provided.    
Deliver the PMA monthly targets and delivery to the GVA RICS standard.     
Contact point for third party agents to whom we are responsible for making payments to.
Continual reviews of processes, systems & controls to ensure that QA is being adhered to, as well as documenting any changes with the Client Service Manual. ·       
Organising rent & rates payment runs per PMA quarterly timetable, as well as ad hoc requests.

Ability to work with a  variety of stakeholders – Surveyors, Accounting team, Rates team, Support Teams and Data Team as well as a number of people from the client ·       
High level of IT knowledge including advanced knowledge of excel, ability to deal with and manipulate large quantities of data ·       
Autonomy and ability to work with minimal supervision ·       
Good work ethic with an energetic approach ·       
Ability to work as part of a team and contribute in a positive manner to the overall performance of the team ·       
Flexibility and commitment to completing the task in hand ·       
Enthusiasm to learn ·       
Ideally part qualified and/or experience with working in a busy and face paced finance function Confidence to deal with all levels of seniority
