Overall Purpose of Job

This is an exciting time for GVA as we seek to grow our business through a very fast paced time of change.   Working as part of a central testing resource you will work closely with respective Project Managers, delivery Teams and business users on a number of projects delivering key strategic solutions based on Salesforce, YARDI Voyager, BOARD BI Tools and custom solutions written using Microsoft .NET stack.   This role is based out of our Birmingham office with occasional travel throughout the UK.

Main Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities

The main responsibilities of the role include: 
Review requirements and specifications and use them to develop test cases ·        Engage with project stakeholders to clarify requirements and desired feature behaviours Produce test scripts, material and regression test packs for new and amended software solutions.    
Provide input to test plans (writing ‘test plans’ for corrective changes\small projects as agreed with the Project Test Lead)      
Execute tests and record the results     
Liaise with key business stakeholders and the Project team to report progress on projects Review of test scripts and maintain to keep up to date with new changes to software. Working with the existing test team to help define new processes and implement constant improvement to existing processes.  
Help to create a suite of automation test scripts

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Minimum 3 years commercial business analysis or test experience   
Previous experience within property sector and working with Salesforce is desirable       Experience across a number of testing disciplines (Functional, Integration, System, Mobile, Regression, Web, System, Acceptance, UAT)   
Knowledge of test management systems e.g. JIRA, TFS      
Working knowledge of MS Office 2010 including Outlook Excellent communication – both oral and written
Ability to work independently as well as lead and manage sessions with volume attendance    
Able to deliver working under demanding workloads and time pressures ·      
An analytical and common sense approach to problem solving
Work effectively and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
Able to assimilate complex product, business, systems and technical knowledge quickly
