Based in our London offices you will work on a variety of professional and project work for investors, lenders, occupiers, developers, and the public sector. Main Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities

In joining the Building Consultancy team, you will enjoy a high quality and diverse range of instructions working with a strong client base, including Funds. Working on a mix of professional and project work your duties will include:

  • Contract administration of larger scale projects
  • Project Management
  • Project Monitoring

Desired Knowledge, Skills and Experience

We’re looking for people with a passion for property and 6+ years plus of post qualified experience to improve efficiency and exceed our client expectations. The successful candidate will be confident in leading a team and in shaping challenging projects from initial client briefing through to project design, preparation and procurement to contract delivery as well as undertaking due diligence and consultancy based instructions. Candidates should be comfortable and confident in client facing situations.

Our ideal candidate would have strong and current experience in Project Management, whilst being a chartered Building Surveyor (or perhaps Quantity Surveyor). We are keen to see candidates with a track record in the management of large office refurbishment projects, additional experience in Education and Schools work would be welcome. A Chartered Building Surveyor in this role would retain the ability to take on professional building surveying work if they wished to do so.

The Role involves servicing existing and established clients and the candidate will be required to demonstrate their desire and ability to develop new clients/networks. The potential to introduce new clients to the business based on established relationships is favourable.

You will be dealing with mixed use classes including offices, industrial, retail and leisure properties.

In addition to leading project teams the candidate will need to have experience in managing a team of surveyors of varied levels within the office environment and to support the development of team members from graduate level upwards.

The Candidate is expected to be fully conversant with working in a multi-disciplinary Chartered Surveying environment, shall have excellent technical skills and commercial acumen. Key attributes will include:
