Overall Purpose of Job

Based at the Birmingham office, the Group Financial Controller will manage a small team of Qualified Accountants, whilst also working with colleagues across the UK and International group.

Reporting into the CFO, the Group Financial Controller will be responsible for:
Management and development of the Group Finance Team
Monthly financial reporting  and management information (internally and to German parent)
Management of budgeting & forecasting and cost control measures
Management of the annual audit and preparation of year-end statutory accounts Management of the group treasury

Main Duties, Responsibilities & Accountabilities

The ideal candidate will be ACA qualified and hold significant post-qualified experience working in Group Finance roles (Group Accountant, Senior Group Accountant, Group Reporting Manager etc).
Candidates from any sector will be considered.  

The ideal candidate will be:  
Qualified (ACA, ACCA)
Technically strong, with a practice background
Exceptional attention to detail
Hands on approach
